Nichola and Darren’s Wedding took place at the amazing Royal Cambridge Hotel – Cambridge. The fun started here early in the morning when the girls were still in their payjamas enjoying a drink or two. I took some informal photos before heading to get hold of the Groom and his mate. On route, I made a start on the finer detailed shots.
Meanwhile, the lads were all busy and ready in their suits in the classic hallway upstairs. Once all the detail shots and all the getting ready shots of the Groom and his mate were finished I decided to head back to the Bride’s room. Cramming into a room with so many girls was a challenge. Let’s face it, the bride’s room is not the tidiest of the rooms when it has so many girls in it. I managed to get all the preps shots covered from both the bride and groom’s room.
The Ceremony was at the Royal Cambridge Hotel’s very classic conference room. With its tall elegant paintings and chandelier it was definitely one to photograph in.
Bride and Groom were totally relaxed apart from some tears from their mum and dad, overall the day went smoothly. We did most of the photo shoot indoors with the lovely backdrops of beautiful paintings and a classic bar area.
Here are some highlights of their Big Day. I wish Nichola and Darren a very Happy Married life.
